The Bay Tree Montessori Day Nursery is owned and managed by Alex and Helen Shepherd. We are husband and wife and both hold the full Montessori Diploma. We have a young family and it has been our long-term goal to open our own school.

The Bay Tree is registered for 32 children aged between 2 and 5 years. Our aim is to provide every child with a highly stimulating, caring Montessori environment. An environment within which each child is safe and happy and able to develop at their own pace, to his/her full potential. Building on their every success they develop self esteem, independence, confidence and consideration for those around them.

Nursery education for most children is their first step outside the family unit. At the Bay Tree we recognise the importance of this transition. Together we can lay the foundations for learning, and nurture the development of your child
