Personal Qualities
Ashley Cross and Bay Tree Montessori are 2 Ofsted Outstanding nurseries looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated Cook with a love of children to work within our team of exceptional child carers for upto 25hours a week at our Bay Tree Montessori setting in Charminster.
You will be expected to prepare and cook lunches and help prepare a menu for our 2 settings from Monday to Friday.
Days and hours of work will be discussed during your interview. The expectation for this role will be to order for, prepare and cook lunches for both nurseries whilst taking a small group of children for around 45 mins of your day and facilitate their understanding of food, nutrition and food preparation for cooking.
You will need to have a calm, considered manner at all times and work well within a team and independently.
Salary: £19,318 per annum based on 25hours per week, 52 weeks a year.

Qualifications and Experience: Experience in a commercial kitchen and completion of a Food Hygiene certificate essential. Health & Safety certificate desirable. Experience of working with children is also essential for this role. Qualified Cook/Chef is desirable.
Work Location: In person so ability to commute or relocate before starting work is (required)
